Basic First Aid - (May 5th)

When a person is injured, it is important to know how to treat them quickly and effectively. Participants in this course will learn methods for dealing with emergency situations, including treatment for sudden illnesses, shock, muscle and bone injuries, burns, animal and insect bites, and more.
Participants who successfully complete this course will receive industry standard certification from weither the National Safety Council or American Heart Association. Certification is valid for two years.
Class size is limited to 10 students.
COURSE MATERIALS - Students will each receive the First Aid manual, 2nd ed, National Safety Council (ISBN 07351974X).
PREREQUISITES - Adult CPR and AED.
