From the Conch My first two articles focused on the importance of achieving good diving fundamentals and then committing to continuing education. In the next article I plan to discuss the importance of balancing the two with a diversity of experience. I will also touch on safety training to compliment both a strong core of basics and a growing knowledge base.

Training Opportunities - (Fall 2011 - Summer 2012) (New) Entry-level Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water/Enriched Air/Nitrox Courses are now available. The Rescue series has been scheduled for May 2012. The series will include: CPR, AED, Standard First Aid, Oxygen Provider and Marine Life First Aid(DEMP) and of course the PADI Rescue Course.

Upcoming Adventures - Spring Break -(New) Cozumel, Mexico March 17th-22nd, (New)Turks and Caicos Aggressor II - Take-2 May 12th-19th, Guadalupe, Mexico The Great White Shark Adventure and Phases 1 & 2 of the "Cradle of Life" Africa Adventure in 2013 - the climbing of Kilimanjaro and the Carpe Vita Explorer in the Maldives.
